Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in a small town outside of the city in
Miami Lakes, FL.
How'd you get into modeling? I
fell into modeling after I did a shoot for fun, I couldn't get
enough of the camera and apparentlyit can't get enough of me either
; )
So what have you learned NOT to
do since you've been in the biz? Don't let anyone persuade you
into anything you don't feelcomfortable doing. If you want to
be taken seriously in this biz,you must be respected.
Where do you want to go with your
modeling? More publications and tear sheets
in respectable magazines.
Pursuing the entertainment industry as well, and possibly

If you could have any job in the
world other than modeling what would it be? Run my own successful law firm
and be a kick ass lawyer.

years? I see myself being a successful

world as much as I can.

Super tweeter Tila Tequila scales back after incident
Reality TV star Tila Tequila first came to fame via social
networking, thanks to her popularity on MySpace.
Later, she became
known as one of the most voracious celebrity tweeters, boasting more
than 243,000 followers on Twitter.
But it was a more
archaic form of technology -- a phone call to police -- that briefly
quieted her social media activities and thrust the petite
personality into the national spotlight after an allegedly violent
encounter with an NFL player.

name is Tila Nguyen, said she was assaulted by

statement from the sheriff's department of San Diego County,
California, authorities responded to a disturbance call early Sunday
from a woman who said she had been choked and restrained by a male.
When police
arrived, "the reporting party identified herself as Tila Nguyen, aka
Tila Tequila, and her alleged assailant as Shawne Merriman," the
statement said.
Nguyen, who starred in
MTV's"A
Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" and its follow-up, "A Shot at Love 2
With Tila Tequila," signed a citizen's arrest at the scene and was
transported to a local hospital, authorities said.
Merriman was taken into custody on
suspicion of battery and false imprisonment, the sheriff's
department statement said.
Merriman's
attorney, Todd Macaluso, told reporters that Nguyen was "extremely
intoxicated and inebriated" at the time of the incident and that the
player tried to make arrangements for her to leave the house.
After hours of
Twitter silence, Nguyen tweeted Sunday evening that she was safe at
home in Los Angeles and thanked fans for their concern and support.
She also appeared
to deny Merriman and his attorney's claim by tweeting, "I am
allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is
how I got the name Tila 'Tequila' cuz the irony. I can't drink."
For a few hours on
Monday the privacy setting on her
Twitter
page,
@officialTila, was turned on to protect her tweets from being viewed
by outsiders.
Ian Corbin, founder
of
CelebrityTweet,
said Nguyen is one of the top celebrity tweeters, often posting more
than 100 tweets a day.
Her abundance of
followers has earned her a ranking of "hot," said Corbin, whose site
gathers the tweets of about 250 celebrities. Nguyen went quiet
before, he said, when there were rumors that she was pregnant by a
hip-hop artist.
Corbin said he is
not surprised that her tweeting has decreased in light of the
incident.
"She probably has a
legal team telling her not to say much," he said.
Ardent
Tequilafans
on Twitter are known as members of the "TilaArmy," and many rallied
online after learning of the incident.

The high-profile
nature of the domestic violence case involving singers Chris Brown
and Rihanna has heightened public interest in such incidents,
Pasulka added.
In one of her postings, Nguyen offered a few hopeful words early
Monday morning via Twitter: "The truth will set you free. ... God is
with me."

Similar approaches to breakfast with very different results.
Replacing an oatmeal base with sugars and granola is never a
good swap. Lately, Jamba has been making a big push into the
food space, and the fresh banana oatmeal represents one of the
best new additions to their menu
Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Muffin
Despite the healthy-sounding names—banana-walnut,
blueberry, cran-orange—muffins are little more than glorified
cake. Case in point: This one has more sugar than 3 ice cream
sandwiches. With nearly half the calories and total fat and more
than double the protein, the bacon-laced breakfast sandwich
emerges as the surprising—and resounding—victor.
Hardee’s Monster Biscuit
Is this really how you want to start your day? Three salty
processed meats, a fat-flecked biscuit, and a veil of melted
cheese? Even if your stomach temporarily screams yes, trust us,
the rest of your body is screaming no. The only thing worse than
Hardee’s abysmal lineup of burgers and afternoon atrocities is
their breakfast menu. More than 60 percent of the entrées
contain at least half a day’s worth of saturated fat and only 3
items have less than 1,000 milligrams of sodium. Blame two
constants: the Southern loyalty to the biscuit, and the penchant
for piling multiple breakfast meats into a single dish. Here,
that means ham, sausage, and bacon, plus a melted cheddar
blanket. While Hardee’s doesn’t offer up trans fat counts, we
suspect there are some of those nasty hydrogenated lipids
lurking in this biscuit. You deserve a better start to your day.
Jimmy Dean Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Bowl
The emerging breakfast bowl trend is a troubling one for
health-conscious eaters. It invariably involves a carb and
fat-riddled amalgamation of eggs, meat, pancakes, and
potatoes—or some combination thereof. A disastrous trifecta of
refined carbs from the pancakes, saturated fat from the sausage,
and added sugar from the syrup. Jimmy’s got his name attached to
more than a few solid breakfast choices, so find one less than
400 calories immediately and make the switch. Hint: Look to the
breakfast sandwiches and the D-Lights line.
Hardee’s Loaded Breakfast Burrito
Are you really ready to sacrifice an entire day's worth of
saturated fat to a food made in the microwave? Hardee's
breakfast menu reads like a blueprint of how not to start your
day. You might as well stay in bed. Burritos are bad news in
even the most capable hands, but give a giant tortilla to
Hardee’s and watch the mayhem ensue. Exhibit A: A massive
tortilla swaddling a glut of ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese,
and hash browns.
Bob Evans Meat Lover BoBurrito
Don’t fall for the breakfast wrap trap. With more calories than
a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with cheese and the sodium of
nearly 7 large fries, this one’s the worst of them all. Ditch
the tortilla, and down a healthy dose of protein, but only about
a third of the calories, with an omelet instead.
IHOP Harvest Grain ‘N Nut with Warm Blueberry Compote
The name implies a level of healthfulness that is immediately
negated by the Matterhorn of whipped cream. By IHOP's low
standards, the waffle and ham combo is a surprisingly solid
breakfast. Ham, the best of the breakfast meats, adds a great
punch of protein.
Arby’s Sausage Gravy Biscuit
The name should be a dead giveaway: Sausage and gravy are two of
the saltiest foods on the planet. Poured lavishly over a
biscuit, they’ll wipe out 2 full days’ worth of sodium in one
morning meal. This is absolutely one of the worst ways you
could start your day. The key to maintaining a reasonable blood
pressure for most folks is to take in at least the equivalent
amount of sodium and potassium throughout your day. (A 1:1 ratio
is seen as ideal.) The problem with this biscuit is that you’re
consuming a heart-stopping level of sodium and almost no
potassium. Throw in an abundance of calories and trans fat and
you may have been better off sleeping in.
Cinnabon Regular Caramel Pecanbun
This isn’t breakfast, this is dessert. And an atrocious one at
that. The only speck of nutrition to be found in the bun comes
from the nuts. Too bad they’re coated in a river of sugar.
Cinnabon and malls are inseparable. Consider it a symbiotic
relationship: Researchers have found that men are turned on by
the smell of cinnamon rolls, and further studies have shown that
men are more likely to spend money when they’re thinking about
sex. But just because Cinnabon might be good for Gap doesn’t
mean it’s at all good for you. This dangerously bloated bun
contains nearly an entire day’s worth of fat and more than half
of your daily allotment of calories. (For those keeping score,
that’s as much as you’ll find in 8 White Castle hamburgers).
Cold Stone Creamery Lotta Caramel Latte (Like It Size)
Think a small latte might be the smart way to escape disaster at
the ice cream parlor? Not quite. This 1 beverage has as many
calories as 3 McDonald’s Double Cheeseburgers. Get your morning
fix with a Lite Sweet Cream Latte instead. By opting for the
“lite” version, you save an extra 170 calories and 15 g of
sugar.
McDonald’s Deluxe Breakfast with margarine and Syrup
Does this really look like a breakfast for one person? Of course
not. That’s why this is the worst fast-food breakfast in America
by an unhealthy margin. The fact that this breakfast is 210
calories worse than McDonald’s Large Triple Thick Chocolate
Milkshake tells you everything you need to know.
Carbohydrate-based breakfasts are the scourge of healthy eating
habits and a hard-working metabolism, and this one platter packs
more cheap carbs than you’d get from 11 slices of Wonder Bread.
Unless you’re ordering yogurt, breakfast at McDonald’s shouldn’t
require utensils.

The Big Steak Omelette
Anxious to know how much fat and sodium are packed into this
beef and cheddar bomb? So are we, but unfortunately, IHOP is one
of the few chain restaurants in the country that don't provide
nutritional information for their menu items. We’re not sure
what’s more concerning: IHOP’s never-ending stacks of
margarine-slathered sweets or their reckless attempts at
covering the savory side of breakfast with entrées like this
one. With close to three-quarters of a day’s worth of calories
folded into its eggy shell (thanks to a heaping portion of fatty
beef), you’re committing to eating rice cakes for your next 2
meals when you start your morning off with this bomblette. Why
not enjoy the substantial Garden Scramble and 2 more real meals
instead?
Bob Evans Stacked & Stuffed Caramel Banana Pecan Hotcakes
It’s not a good sign when it takes you nearly 5 seconds to spit
out the name of your breakfast. This bad boy packs in more than
75 percent of your calories for the day, along with more sugar
and fat than 8 glazed Dunkin’ Donuts and nearly as much sodium
as 5 Bloody Marys. Research shows that starting your day off
with refined carbs will lead to higher consumption levels
throughout the rest of the day. Just imagine, then, how many
calories you’ll knock back with 198 grams of low-quality carbs

Malaysia bans Baron Cohen's 'Bruno' film

Malaysia has banned U.S. box office hit "Bruno" by Sacha Baron
Cohen because it highlights gay life and has gay sex scenes, an
official said Tuesday.
"Bruno" _ following Baron Cohen's hit "Borat" _ is centered around
the adventures of a flamboyant gay fashion journalist from
Austria.
An official from Malaysia's Film Censorship Board said the movie
was considered unacceptable because of its story line, offensive
language, jokes and racy nature. She declined to be named, citing
protocol.
"It's banned because the story is based on gay life ... There are
a lot of sex scenes," she said. "It's contrary to our culture."
Gay sex, or "carnal intercourse against the order of nature," is
punishable by up to 20 years in jail and whipping in Malaysia. Sex
toys, politically incorrect comments and jokes about religion also
irked the censors, she said.
She said censors vetted the movie last month, and the distributor
was notified.
Ukraine has also banned the film, and some Austrian officials have
spoken out against it, but have not taken action.
Baron Cohen's previous movie "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America
for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" made fun of the
former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan and the United States and was
banned in Kazakhstan and Russia.
Malaysia also decided in early September to ban another American
hit, the horror film "Halloween II," because of its gory scenes
and excessive violence, the official said. The distributor was
informed and can appeal the decision.
A Muslim-majority nation of 28 million people, Malaysia has strict
public morality rules, including those applying to entertainment.
U.S. R&B star Beyonce Knowles, who is scheduled to perform here on
Oct. 25, has promised to wear conservative attire for the show.
